The furnace kicked on last night, always a depressing sound. I had to cover plants, hope the lilac tree survived. Then my oldest daughter sends me this photo of Ethan from two days ago when it was in the 80s. Instant joy. She teaches first grade and someone gave a party for a little girl who is moving away. Ethan is showing off his new sandals. He has a handful of party favors he got from the girls. In the Little Rat Pack he is Frank to Gabe's Dean. Ah...... gather ye party favors while ye may.

  1. The young ladies seem very sweet and attentive....years from now your Grandson will hope to re-create such scenes with as much frequency as possible...

  3. Darlings!! My heat clicked on last night and is why I am waiting to Mother's Day to get out the spring flowers. The bushes and trees are in full floral bloom however!!

I have a new post and interview up I think you will enjoy!

  5. Hi James,
What a wonderful photograph. I love the way all of the girls are looking after Ethan. I bet he loved his new sandles. Those sort of things are very important when you are little.
Sorry that it's getting cold for you. We are a little warmer but now have volcanic ash to deal with !!!! XXXX
