It is a very, very fine line between sharing your thoughts and being a painfully boring old man. I seem to skate back and forth. So to avoid being the latter I present Ethan in his brown herringbone vest. He is nearly two, hard to believe. Some of you may remember what my daughter went through to have him. Life is so sweet when I hear "Ganda". Yes you guessed it,I am a well and contented man.

  7. Well James,
I coming over to take Ethan out. Him in his posh waistcoat and me in my posh top hat !! Actually, I'm very partial to the wearing of a waistcoat so, I shall put on my best one because Ethan and I are going out for ice cream !! Tell Ethan to have a little nap, as it takes quite a while to get there from the U.K. !! haha XXXX

  9. Your dapper sense of style has rubbed of well! He looks both CUTE and SMART!

Someone I knew used to tell me when I was in my early 20s. (Even though at the time I doubted that strongly!!): 'As you get older, time speeds up'.

I found this to be so true. My question is this; if the children grew up too fast, will the grand children grew up even faster?

Glad you seem to be making the most out of it, James.

  12. Dear, dear James,

If there were ever anyone in the blogosphere who is not a bore, it would be you.

Ethan is divine. How brilliant of his mother (influenced no doubt by her father and mother beginning at a similar) to start the sartorial wheels in motion. (That probably makes no metaphorical sense, but you know what I mean.)

And, yes, everyone in the world should know you're out there. You are the perfect example of the type of man we all admire.

    Ton Amie, mon cher ami,
    Tish
